Jammu: A forest guard was killed after he fell from a mountain in Banihal district, officials said on Wednesday.
Officials told GNS that during duty hours a forest guard slipped and fell deep down the mountain resulting in his on spot death.
He has been identified as Ab Fafar Sohil son of Mohd Yousuf Sohil residents of Wagan Sherbibi Banihal.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
