Deputy CM conducts surprise visit at Gandhi Nagar Hospital Jammu

Srinagar, Nov 28: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary made an unannounced visit to Gandhi Nagar Hospital on Thursday, taking stock of its functioning and meeting with patients to gain firsthand insights into the facility’s operations.

News agency KINS reported that during the inspection, the Deputy CM toured various departments, interacting with patients to understand their concerns and experiences.

He also engaged with the hospital’s medical staff and doctors, who briefed him on the hospital’s day-to-day functioning, challenges, and achievements.

Patients expressed their satisfaction with the visit, noting the Deputy CM’s proactive approach in addressing healthcare issues. “It’s reassuring to see top authority in the government taking a direct interest in our well-being,” said a patient in the outpatient department.

Choudhary stressed the importance of efficient healthcare services and assured that any gaps in resources or infrastructure would be addressed promptly.

He also commended the staff for their dedication and encouraged them to continue their efforts in providing quality care.(KINS)
