Notorious Criminal Booked Under PSA in Samba

Samba: To address rising criminal activities in Samba, police have detained a notorious offender under the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA) and sent him to jail.

The accused, identified as Alam Din, also known as Allu, son of Nazir Ahmed and a resident of Manohar Gopala in Samba, has a history of multiple criminal cases lodged against him at Samba and Majalta police stations in Udhampur district. His repeated offenses had become a significant threat to public peace and security.

Acting on detailed dossiers prepared by SSP Samba, the District Magistrate issued a detention order against the accused. The operation to execute the warrant was carried out by the Rakh Amb Talli Police Post team, under the supervision of the Police Station Samba. The accused was subsequently lodged in District Jail Kathua.

This development highlights Samba Police’s unwavering commitment to maintaining law and order and tackling criminal elements to ensure the safety of the community.
