Cluster University Jammu hosts Inter- Collegiate power & weight lifting (men and women) competitions at Govt. SPMR College of Commerce

Jammu: The Cluster University of Jammu organised Inter- Collegiate Power lifting and weight lifting (Men and Women) Competitions at Government SPMR College of Commerce the other day.
Prof. Pawan Gupta was the Chief Guest at the Opening Ceremony, while Dr. Vinod Bakshi, Director Physical Education & Sports CLUJ was the Guest of Honor.
Dr. Chetna Gupta, Prof. Sanjeev Verma, Prof. Esha Abrol, Ramandeep Physical Director of GCOE were also present at the Competition.
The Tournament was organized under the overall Supervision of Ravi Kumar, Physical Director Govt. SPMR College of Commerce.
In the Weight Lifting women’s section, the team of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce emerged as a winner of the tournament while PSPS GCW Gandhi Nagar ended as runner-up.
In the Men section, Karan jot Singh of GGM Science Won Gold Medal and Hetender Singh of GCOE won silver medal.
In Powerlifting women, the team of Govt. SPMR College of Commerce emerged as a Winner of the tournament while PSPS GCW Gandhi Nagar stood as Runner-up.
In the Men section, Govt. SPMR College of Commerce emerged as a winner of the tournament while GGM Science Runner-up.
The Competition was officiated by Ajay Sharma, Deepak Jyoti, Akash Kath and Rahul Sawhney.
