Biwi No 1 Returns: Salman Khan, Karishma Kapoor Starrer  Re-release on Nov 29

Fans of 90s Bollywood are in for a treat as Biwi No 1, one of the most iconic comedy films of its time, is set to make a return to the big screen. Directed by David Dhawan, the film that originally released in 1999 will re-release in theatres on November 29, giving fans the chance to relive the laughter, drama, and charm of this classic comedy.

Starring Salman Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Tabu, and Anil Kapoor, Biwi No 1 was a massive hit upon its release. It continues to be remembered for its perfect blend of humour, romance, and a star-studded cast that captured the essence of the late 90s Bollywood.

Jackky Bhagnani shared the announcement on X. “It’s official! The Biwi No. 1 trailer is OUT now! Get ready for David Dhawan’s Biggest Entertainer to take over the screen once again! #29thNovember (sic),” read the post.

Biwi No 1 revolves around Prem (Salman Khan), a married man with a beautiful wife, played by Karishma Kapoor, who is caught in a tricky situation when he starts an affair with a glamorous woman, portrayed by Sushmita Sen. What ensues is a hilarious mix of misunderstandings, schemes, and a battle between the ‘good wife’ and the ‘other woman’ as Prem’s life turns upside down.

The film’s charm lies not just in its catchy songs and slapstick comedy, but also in its memorable performances by the entire ensemble. Salman Khan’s portrayal of the charming yet flawed protagonist, Karishma Kapoor’s endearing performance as the loyal wife, Sushmita Sen’s captivating presence as the other woman, and Anil Kapoor’s hilarious antics as a friend trying to sort out the mess made for an unforgettable cinematic experience.
