CM’s political adviser Nasir Wani blames ‘PDP for political chaos, loss of Article 370’

Srinagar : Nasir Wani, political adviser to the Chief Minister, has criticized the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), accusing it of triggering political instability in Jammu and Kashmir by aligning with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in 2014.

“If PDP had not supported BJP in 2014, we wouldn’t have witnessed the abrogation of Article 370, nor the fallout that followed. The region has endured destruction for the past 10 years due to their decision,” Wani stated, according to news agency KINS.

He was talking to reporters in response to PDP’s claims that the National Conference (NC) has failed to bring about a resolution for the restoration of Article 370.

The PDP has consistently denied these allegations, maintaining that its coalition with BJP in 2014 was an effort to bring governance and stability to the region.
