Andrabi paid obeisance at Kishtwar Sufi Shrines & took stock of Waqf assets in Doda
Doda, Nov 11: Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of J&K Waqf Board today paid obeisance at the shrines of Shah Asrar-ud-Din (RA) & Shah Faridduddin (RA) at Kishtwar and prayed for the peace in J&K. She held a meeting with the Waqf Board staff and assessed the work on different projects going on in Kishtwar. Later Andrabi visited Doda and chaired a meeting in which she took stock of the Waqf Board managed properties and assets. Dr Andrabi had a detailed discussion regarding the developmental projects to be executed in future. Waqf Executive Officer Doda Javed Iqbal Zargar was part of the meeting. “In the coming months, the Waqf Board will be taking up some new works for execution which will further strengthen the Waqf System in Kishtwar and Doda districts. “Sufi Circuit is the nerve centre of peace & spiritual excellence in J&K”, said Dr Darakhshan while speaking to the media at Doda.
