District Police Conference Held at District Police Headquarters, Anantnag


Anantnag: In a bid to strengthen Policing strategies and address contemporary law enforcement challenges, a District-level Police Conference was held today at District Police Headquarters, Anantnag. The conference was chaired by SSP Anantnag, Dr. G.V. Sundeep Chakravarthy, IPS, and brought together Police officers from across the district to deliberate on enhancing Policing protocols.
Modeled after the DGP/IGPs conferences, the event served as a platform for in-depth discussions on key issues such as combating cybercrime, tackling radicalization, addressing the narcotics menace, improving police training, understanding the implications of new laws, and bolstering overall security measures.
The conference also explored the use of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to improve operational efficiency, enhance crime prevention, and respond effectively to emerging criminal activities.
Participants underscored the importance of adopting innovative, solution-oriented strategies to meet evolving challenges. The discussions concluded with a unanimous commitment to fostering a safer, more secure environment for the residents of Anantnag through collaborative efforts.
The event was attended by prominent officers, including SP Headquarters Anantnag Shri Sajad Ahmad, SP Operations Anantnag Furqan Qadir, Additional SP Anantnag  Ghulam Hassan, DySP Headquarters Anantnag, all SDPOs, SHOs, and in-charges of Police Posts, along with other officers of District Police Anantnag.
