CM Omar Abdullah urges Speaker for extra time to new MLAs during LG’s address discussion

Srinagar: Chief Minister and leader of the house Omar Abdullah requested the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker to grant additional speaking time to first-time MLAs during the discussion on the motion to pay a vote of thanks for the Lieutenant Governor’s address.
News agency KINS reported that Omar Abdullah highlighted the empty opposition benches, suggesting that this available time could be utilized by leaders present in the House, allowing new members to engage more thoroughly in parliamentary proceedings and voice their perspectives.
