IED detected on Bandipora-Srinagar road

Bandipora: The security forces on Thursday detected an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in Nadihal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir news observer (KNO) that a road opening party (ROP) detected an IED at Nadihal area along Bandipora-Srinagar road following which a bomb disposal squad was called.

The traffic movement on Bandipora-Srinagar road has been halted from the either sides as a precautionary measure—(KNO)
