Girl Riding Scooty Injured After ‘Hit’ by Bus in Sopore

Srinagar:A girl riding a scooty was injured after a JKRTC bus allegedly hit the two wheeler at Naseem Bagh arae in North Kashmir’s Sopore district on Wednesday morning, officials said.
They told the news agency CNS that the accident occurred near the railway crossing in Sopore when the JKRTC bus, bearing registration number JK02Y-0649, collided against the scooty, which was being riding by a girl from Seer Sopore.
“In the incident, the girl sustained injuries and was shifted to a Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment,” officials said.
However, the condition of the injured girl, referred to the hospital, was yet to be known.
The scooty was completely mangled and its remains were seen lying adjacent to the bus.
Meanwhile, local police, soon after the accident, rushed to the spot and took cognizance of it.
