Srinagar:A student suffered injuries during a scuffle between two groups near SP college in Srinagar on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported, the student sustained injuries after being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon near SP college.
He said the injured student was later shifted to a nearby hospital.
The official identified the student as Momin Riyaz son of Riyaz Ahmad Dar of South Kashmir’ Anantnag.
Police have initiated proceedings into the incident, added the official.
