Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Flagged off the “Run for Unity”

Srinagar:29 oct: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Flagged off the “Run for Unity” in Srinagar on the occasion of National Unity Day, which commemorates the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhai Patel.

The idea behind the Run for Unity embodies the spirit of unity, a concept deeply ingrained in the people of Kashmir. Tolerance and communal harmony have always been pillars of Kashmiri culture, influenced by the teachings of great Saints like Sheikh Nur Ud Din Nurani (RA), Lal Dedh and many others.

Sher-e-Kashmir worked tirelessly to preserve these values, and it is our duty to continue nurturing and upholding them. Let us stand together in solidarity, honoring our shared history and commitment to unity.
