Kulgam Police Arrests Drug Peddler in Khudwani, Contraband Seized

Kulgam:  Kulgam Police have arrested a drug peddler at Khudwani, Kulgam and recovered a significant quantity of contraband from his possession.
A Police team from Police station Qaimoh set up a checkpoint at Khudwani Byepass and intercepted a vehicle (Truck) bearing registration number JK03F-4926 for checking. After search, 4 kilograms of Poppy Straw  like contraband substance was recovered from the tool box of the said vehicle. The arrested individual has been identified as *John Mohd Mandoo, son of Ghulam Rasool Mandoo, a resident of Redwani Payeen.
Accordingly, a case has been registered under FIR No. 98/2024 at Police Station Qaimoh, and further investigation is underway.
The community is urged to come forward with any information regarding drug peddlers in their areas. Those involved in drug trafficking will be dealt strictly according to the law. Our continued actions against drug peddlers aim to reassure the Public that we are committed to keeping our society free from the scourge of drug menace.
