Govt Sanctions Three Days Leave for Diwali to PM Package employees, others

Srinagar: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced the grant of three days of Special Casual Leave for PM Package, Migrant, and Jammu-based employees working in the Kashmir Valley.
According to Government Order No. 1834-JK(GAD) of 2024, the leave will be available on 30th and 31st October, as well as 2nd November 2024.
This provision allows employees to celebrate the Diwali festival in Jammu.
The decision aims to facilitate the observance of the festival for those serving in various departments across the Kashmir Valley.
