Kupwara,: In a successful anti-narcotics operation, Kupwara Police apprehended a suspect and recovered a substantial quantity of charas-like substance.
Police said that during a checkpoint inspection near B.Ed College crossing in Drugmulla, police noticed a suspicious individual attempting to flee. Quick action led to the arrest of Khursheed Hajam, a Kupwara resident.
A thorough search revealed the contraband, which was seized in accordance with the law. A case has been registered under relevant sections of law, said the police.
