Body of Missing Child Found After Suspected Leopard Attack in Kulgam

Kulgam,: The body of a minor who went missing on Wednesday night in Birinil Devsar village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam was recovered by search teams.

According to Wildlife Officials, 3-year-old kid was suspected to have been attacked by a leopard. The incident occurred late Wednesday night, prompting locals and family members to launch a frantic search.

“A search operation was initiated immediately after the child was reported missing,” said Imtiyaz Naik, Incharge, Wildlife department, Kulgam. “Unfortunately, we have recovered the child’s body.”

The victim’s family and locals had suspected a leopard attack due to previous incidents in the area. [KNT]
