Srinagar :Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi today evening.
The meeting is believed to have focused on critical political developments and security matters in Jammu and Kashmir.
Earlier, Abdullah left Srinagar for the capital, sparking speculation about the issues discussed.
While no official statements have been released, sources suggest the talks centered on security and development initiatives in the Union Territory. Additionally, Abdullah is expected to address the state Cabinet’s resolution calling for the restoration of statehood.
The Chief Minister is also slated to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow, continuing high-level discussions with the Central leadership.
This series of meetings comes at a pivotal time for the J&K, given the recent political changes and heightened attention on Jammu and Kashmir.
