Allowing Mirwaiz Umar’s meeting with colleagues indicative of shift in political environment: Altaf Bukhari

Srinagar :Apni Party Chief Altaf Bukhari called  the allowing of the meeting of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and his colleagues an indication of shift in the political environment in J&K.

According to KNS, in a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), Bukhari described the move as indicative of a shift in the political climate of Jammu and Kashmir. “Pleased to hear that Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Sahib and his colleagues have finally been allowed to meet after a prolonged period. This indicates a clear shift in the political environment in J&K, a change that holds great potential for advancing the broader interests of the people,” Bukhari stated.

He emphasized that despite the political and ideological differences among the region’s leaders, stakeholders must come together for the greater good. “All stakeholders, particularly political entities, can play a positive role in building a better future for J&K—one full of hope, peace, prosperity, and the well-being of its people,” he added.
