Anti-Narcotics Task Force Kashmir organises awareness programme on drug abuse in Srinagar

Srinagar:  Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Kashmir under the supervision of SSP ANTF J&K, organized an awareness program on drug abuse at Govt. Higher Secondary School Jawahar Nagar Srinagar in which about 250 students and staff members participated. The aim of the programme is to aware students about drug abuse and to save the society from drug menace.
While speaking on the occasion, SSP ANTF J&K Shri Raj Kumar gave an elaborated awareness on various topics regarding drug abuse. The students were briefed to remain away from drugs and perform sports activities. Speakers of ANTF Kashmir gave an elaborated view about the menace of drugs, its sources, causes, consequences and role of every member of the society for its total eradication. Participants were also reiterated to fight against the menace of drugs and were also stressed to share the information related to illicit drug supply, so that appropriate action under law is taken against the drug peddlers/traffickers. Moreover, the students were briefed to share information with their peer groups for more awareness in the society.
