Dr Andrabi visits Dastgeer Sahib shrine at Khanyar to take stock of the Urs celebrations

Srinagar: J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Syed Darakhshan Andrabi today paid obeisance at the Ziyarat Dastgeer Sahib at Khanyar Srinagar and took stock of the arrangements made by the Waqf Board in coordination with different other departments in connection with the Annual Urs celebrations. Dr Andrabi issued instructions for updating the facilities after speaking to the pilgrims and the people involved in the management of the facilities. Dr Andrabi thanked the district administrative and all other government departments for their cooperation in extending the requisite facilities at the shrine. While speaking to the media after the visit, Dr Andrabi said that Dastgir Sahib is revered by all communities in Kashmir “The teachings of Dastgeer Sahib ate universally relevant. He is the epitome of spiritual excellence. By celebrating him, we are celebrating the ethos of human excellence”, said Dr Darakhshan. Dr Andrabi prayed for the peace and prosperity of the humanity.
