Srinagar: Cricket history was made at Srinagar’s Bakshi Stadium during the Legends League match on Friday, where fans experienced a day filled with joy and heartwarming gestures from the “Universe Boss” Chris Gayle.

Two unforgettable fan moments captured the hearts of many, marking the match as one for the books.

In one such moment, a little cricket fan, Syed Shahban from Bemina, saw his dreams turn into reality. The little boy, filled with excitement and awe, was gifted a signed helmet by none other than his cricket idol, Chris Gayle.

Shaban, with eyes glistening and a wide smile, shared his excitement with the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). “Getting Chris Gayle’s helmet is the best thing that could ever happen to me. My dream has come true,” he expressed.

Overwhelmed with emotion, the young boy said he had come to the match just to see Gayle, and receiving the legendary cricketer’s helmet made the day even more special. “I am very happy. This is the best moment of my life,” he added.

It is worth mentioning that Shahban’s story was just one of the many heartwarming moments that unfolded at Bakshi Stadium.
