Those who were in field to damage NC got perished by peoples’ mandate: Omar in Budgam

‘Now it’s our responsibility to reciprocate huge mandate by fulfilling peoples’ demands’

Budgam: Former Chief Minister and the National Conference vice president Omar Abdullah while thanking the people of Budgam for his massive victory Tuesday said those who had come in the field to destroy NC have themselves perished by the peoples’ verdict.

“I am thankful to the people of Budgam for supporting me. Those who were in the field against NC with an aim to destroy us have themselves perished,” the NC vice president who emerged victorious from Budgam and Ganderbal simultaneously told reporters in Budgam, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

He said that now the mandate given to NC is a huge responsibility. “We have to reciprocate this mandate by fulfilling peoples’ demands,” said a visibly happy Omar.

NC almost did a clean sweep in Kashmir by winning almost 30 seats while it is leading on many seats as well. BJP emerged largest party in Jammu by bagging over 28 seats—(KNO)
