Police arrested two notorious drug peddlers

 
Sopore: Sopore Police have arrested two notorious drug peddlers and recovered Contraband Substances from their possession. A police party of Police Station Tarzoo headed by SHO PS Tarzoo Insp. Sajad Ahamd under the supervision of SDPO Sopore Shri. Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS, during naka at Sofi Akbar Road Chankhan apprehended two persons namely:  Muzafar Ahmad Marazi @Muzz Marazi S/O Mohammad Akbar Marazi R/O Sofi Hamam Sopore and  Ishfaq Ahmad Lone S/O Abdul Majeed Lone R/O Wangam Bandipora.
During the search, the Police Party was able to recover 5 grams of contraband Heroine like substance from their possession. In this regard, case FIR No. 99 under relevant sections of Law has been registered at Police Station Tarzoo & investigation has been initiated. It’s pertinent to mention here that Muzafar Ahmad Marazi @Muzz Marazi resident of Sofi Hamam Sopore is known for involving youth of Sopore in drug menace and is involved in many cases of NDPS Act at different police stations.
Sopore police urges the common masses to give information regarding narcotics or any other crimes to the nearest police establishment or dial 112.
General Public is requested to cooperate with police in curbing the menace of drugs from the society. We reassure the community members that police will act tough against the criminals as per the law.
