Tourist dies, another injured after falling at Doodhpathri, Budgam

Budgam: A tourist died, while another was injured after they slipped while taking photos, resulting in injuries to both at Doodhpathri in the Khansahib area of Central Kashmir Budgam district, on yesterday late night.

A police officer told NVI that at least two tourists were injured after they slipped while taking a selfie in Doodhpathri, Budgam late on yesterday night.

He said, one of them was declared brought dead on arrival, while the other was shifted to Srinagar for advanced treatment.

He was later identified as Abdul Malik (70), and the injured person was identified as Naseema Khatoon (55). Meanwhile, police have taken up the investigation.—(News Vibes of India)
