Sopore: Police in Sopore have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered psychotropic substance from their possession.
A Police party of Police Post Fruit Mandi headed by IC PP Fruit Mandi during patrolling at Nowpora Byepass Road apprehended two persons in a suspicious condition. During search, officers were able to recover 540 banned tablets (Alprazolam) from their possession.
Meanwhile, a case vide FIR No. 223/2024 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Sopore & investigation has been initiated.
