New Delhi: The 10th anniversary of the Swachh Bharat campaign saw a host of celebrities come together to promote this vital mission. Many took to social media to encourage citizens to join the initiative for a healthier environment.

Power couple Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a heartfelt joint video message on Instagram, urging their fans to actively engage in the campaign. Kareena emphasized her dedication to a Swacch Bharat, saying, “As a mother, I want the best for my children, and this mission is crucial for every family’s participation.” She added that every Indian should honor Gandhi’s dream of a clean India.
Saif praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s commitment and strong leadership in turning the Swachh Bharat Mission into a nationwide movement. “For us, it’s about showing our kids that a healthy environment is the foundation for a happy life,” he said.
Other celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Manushi Chhillar, R Madhavan, Tisca Chopra, and Shankar Mahadevan, also shared inspiring messages on social media.
Alia Bhatt said, “Let’s come together and take this mission to new heights, making our country even more beautiful.” Manushi Chhillar emphasized, “Swachhta hi jeevan ka saccha aadhar hai. Let’s pledge to keep our surroundings clean and make a difference!”
R Madhavan described the impact and results of Swachh Bharat as outstanding, noting that it has changed the mindset of people.
Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014, the Swachh Bharat campaign aims to honor Mahatma Gandhi’s lifelong commitment to cleanliness and sanitation, values he regarded as essential for the nation’s progress.
