Kulgam: Encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Adigam area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Saturday.
Reports reaching that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Adigam.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight.
In a X Post said, “#Encounter has started at Adigam Devsar area of #Kulgam. Police and security forces are on the job. Further details shall follow @JmuKmrPolice”
