Weather Alert: Kashmir to Experience Rain and Snow from Sept 26-27

Srinagar: The Meteorological Department has forecast light rain in the plains and light snow in some hilly areas of Kashmir from the evening of September 26 to the afternoon of September 27.

According to the MeT Department, short spells of rain cannot be ruled out at some places during this period. Strong winds with thunderstorms are also expected at some locations in the valley, with snowfall predicted in hilly areas on the night of September 26.

The department has advised farmers to store their harvested crops safely.

A dry spell is expected to follow from October 1 to October 5.

The weather forecast indicates that Kashmir will experience rain and snow for a short duration, followed by a dry spell. The Meteorological Department’s forecast will help residents and farmers prepare for the upcoming weather conditions.
