Among them, 16 seats will be held in Kashmir, while 24 seats will be held in Jammu. The districts that will be polled in this phase include Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora, Udhampur, Kathua, Sanbi and Jammu. A total of 449 aspirants are in the fray for this third and biggest phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections.

The first two phases of the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir have concluded, while the third and final phase of polling will be held on October 1.
