Affirms Party Support for Ada Muntazir
Srinagar: Apni Party Vice President G H Mir on Saturday clarified recent reports suggesting that Muntazir Mohiuddin was supporting Omar Abdullah.
Speaking to reporters, Mir said that Muntazir had personally called him to deny the claims.
“He called me and said that he hadn’t made any such statement,” Mir said. “If any wrongdoing is found, the party will take action.”
Mir further said the party continues to support Agha Muntazir. “We are backing him and several other candidates like in Uri, where Taj Mohiuddin is running for elections. This is part of our election strategy,” he added.
