Jammu: An intense exchange of fire broke out between militants and security forces in Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Saturday.
According to officials, the encounter was triggered by specific intelligence inputs, confirming the presence of militants in the area.
“Contact has been established with the militants,” officials told GNS.
