Jammu: Jammu Police arrested two thieves on Friday in Bathindi area of Jammu district, recovering stolen property valued at ₹8 lakh, including an Alto car and various electronic items.

In a statement issued to Asian Mail, police spokesperson said that the suspects, identified as Ashok Kumar and Sonu Singh, were taken into custody after an FIR (No. 215/2024) was registered. During interrogation, they confessed to multiple thefts in the area.
Further investigations led to additional recoveries, strengthening the case against the accused.
