Srinagar: As J&K’s Assembly Elections kick off, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged voters to participate in large numbers. He emphasized the importance of strengthening democracy through high voter turnout.
“Vote in large numbers and make this festival of democracy stronger,” PM wrote on X, specifically encouraging young and first-time voters to exercise their franchise.
Voting is currently underway in 24 Assembly Constituencies across seven districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
