Large queues ‘missing’ at Mehbooba Mufti’s home polling station in Bijbehara

Bijbehara: While the first phase of assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir began this morning, large queues are ‘missing’ in the home polling station of former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti in Srigufwara-Bijbehara segment.
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), large queues were witnessed at almost all the polling stations across 24 assembly constituencies since morning.
However, the situation is quite different at Mehbooba Mufti’s home polling station where no such queues were witnessed till 11:00 am today.
As per the official details, at 10:30 am, a total of 77 votes were polled out of 362 including 171 male and 191 female voters.
The voters are turning up one by one at the polling to cast their ballots.
