Jammu: A 22-year-old boy who was drowned on Sunday, his body was recovered today from river in Surankote area of district Poonch.
Officials told GNS that a youth namely Shafqat Hussain (22) son of Kabir Hussain resident of Dhandak Lindi was drowned on Sunday when he was taking bath in the river.
After strenuous efforts by rescue team for 24 hours, the body of the youth was recovered today from the river.
Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed the incident and said an investigation has been initiated in this regard.
