Srinagar: Dr. Touseef Ahmed was elected as the Secretary of Rotary Club Kashmir at an installation ceremony presided over by District Governor (DG) Dr P.S Grover District 3070.
Dr. Touseef Ahmed’s unwavering commitment towards societal development and selfless service earned him this prestigious post. His dedication to the Rotary cause and tireless efforts in implementing various community service projects made him the natural choice for this position.
Rotary Club Kashmir, a unit of Rotary International, is part of a global network with over 1.2 million active Rotarians across 200 countries. The club focuses on addressing pressing issues like healthcare, education, and environmental sustainability in Kashmir.
DG District 3070 praised Dr.Touseef  Ahmed’s leadership qualities and commitment to Rotary’s values. “Dr. Touseef’s passion for service and expertise will undoubtedly elevate the club’s initiatives and create a lasting impact in the community.” Also Vivek Thankha Member parliament Raj Sabha and a Rotarian also graced the ocassion as a special invitee.
As Secretary, Dr. Touseef Ahmed will play a pivotal role in shaping the club’s strategy, fostering collaborations, and driving projects that benefit the people of Kashmir.
