‘NC, Congress, PDP ruined J&K for their own gains’: PM Modi Vows terror-free J&K, credits youth for transformation

Doda: Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a stirring speech at a rally in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, where he strongly criticized Congress and Regional Political Parties.

Addressing a packed stadium in Doda, Modi emphasized the transformation occurring in Jammu and Kashmir, praising the local people for their role in this change.

“National Conference (NC), Congress, and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have ruined Jammu and Kashmir for their own benefits,” Modi said.

“But now, we are determined to make J&K terror-free. The terrorists are on the run in J&K, and very soon, the Delhi to Srinagar train will be connected.”

He highlighted the significant changes in the region, stating, “Kashmir has changed over the years, and the new Jammu and Kashmir is emerging. It’s not done by Modi; it’s done by the people here.”

Modi interacted warmly with the crowd, using local language to connect with them. “You have traveled for hours to be here, and your enthusiasm is visible. I see many sisters and women here, and I am grateful for your love and support. I promise to give back your love.”

He reassured the crowd about the future of J&K, stating, “We will create a peaceful and developed Kashmir. This is my guarantee. The upcoming elections will shape the future of J&K. After independence, Kashmir faced many challenges, and the previous rulers failed to safeguard your children. They only advanced their own interests, leading to terrorism and unrest.”

Modi criticized previous administrations for failing to hold elections and provide opportunities for the youth.  “There were no elections for Panchayat, BDC, or DDC. Our government decided that youth should come forward, leading to elections in 2018 and 2019, bringing democracy to the grassroots level.”

He praised the youth for their contributions to the region’s development. “The youth have given a new shape to J&K, and development has come to Kashmir. I salute the youth and young women for their efforts.”

Modi also spoke about infrastructure improvements, stating, “The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway is a significant step towards development. We are working on connecting the rail line in Kashmir, and soon the Delhi to Ramban train will be operational.”

The Prime Minister mentioned various government schemes aimed at benefiting the people of J&K, including the opening of schools, colleges, IITs, and AIMS. He also highlighted the growing film industry in the region and the positive impact of tourism on local businesses.

Modi concluded his speech by emphasizing the BJP’s commitment to the development of Jammu and Kashmir, assuring the audience that their promises will be fulfilled.
