BJP Candidates from Central Kashmir File Nomination Papers for Assembly Elections 2024

Srinagar: In a significant development ahead of the Jammu & Kashmir Assembly elections 2024, BJP candidates from Central Kashmir officially filed their nomination papers today, marking a vital step in the party’s strong campaign for the region.

Ashok Bhat filed his nomination from the Habba kadal constituency in Srinagar. He was accompanied by Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh and BJP National President Tarun Chugh.

In the Lal Chowk constituency, Er. Aijaz submitted his nomination, denoting the BJP’s commitment to ensuring a strong presence in one of the most pivotal areas of Srinagar. He was accompanied by BJP Senior Leader, Waqf Board Chairperson, and Minister of State Dr. Darakshan Andrabi.

Meanwhile, Arif Raja filed his nomination from the Eidgah constituency. He was joined by former MLC Charanjit Singh Khalsa, showcasing the party’s collective stability and unity as it heads into the election.

These nominations are part of the BJP’s broader strategy to secure key constituencies across Jammu & Kashmir, underscoring the party’s focus on development, good governance, and integration of the region with the national mainstream.

As the election campaign gains momentum, the BJP candidates from Central Kashmir are poised to present a strong challenge, with a focus on bringing change and development to the region.
