Nodal Officer MCMC Srinagar interacts with Constituency level Nodal Officers, briefs them about their role, responsibility

Srinagar: The Nodal Officer, Media Certification & Monitoring Committee(MCMC) of Srinagar district today interacted with the MCMC Nodal Officers of various Assembly constituencies in the district.
During the meeting, he briefed the Nodal Officers on their assigned role and responsibilities. He also briefed them about various aspects of content monitoring in various media like electronic, print, social and digital forms.
The meeting threadbare discussed issues like paid news, misinformation and disinformation besides hate news often witnessed during elections.
MCMC Nodal Officers of all the eight Assembly constituencies of Srinagar district attended the meeting.
Besides, officers and officials of MCMC and Media Centre were also present in the meeting.
