Forest Department condole demise of Conservator of Forests, Dr. Jitendra Kumar

Srinagar: J&K Forest Department expressed grief and sorrow over the demise of Conservator of Forests, Dr. Jintendra Kumar Singh, an IFS Officer of 2010 batch who passed away after a brief illness at AIIMS New Delhi.

A condolence meeting of forest officers and officials was held at Sheikh Bagh Forest Complex, Srinagar which among others was attended by B.K. Singh Principal Chief Conservator of Forests & HoFF, J&K and Irfan Rasool CCF Kashmir.

A two-minute silence was observed for peace of the departed soul.

On the occasion services of the late Forest Officer were highlighted which he rendered for the Department. Participants remembered Dr. Jitendra Kumar as a noble human being and an able officer who significantly contributed a lot for the growth and betterment of the Department.

The meeting prayed for peace to the departed soul and expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family.
