At least seven people injured after their car turns turtle in J-K’s Rajouri

Rajouri: At least seven people were injured in a road accident near Kewal in Budhal of J&K’s Rajouri on Friday, reports said.

Quoting an official news agency NVI reported that seven persons were injured in a road accident after a vehicle with registration number JK11 6229 overturned while moving from Koteranka to Budhal Rajouri.

The official said that the accident occurred due to the vehicle being driven at high speed, reportedly with negligence, leading to loss of control.

The injured have been identified as Mohd Bashir (70), son of Faqeer Mohd, resident of Kewal, Kesaro Begum (52), wife of Abdul Majid, resident of Seari Kewal, Aftar Ansari (19), son of Nizam ud, resident of Bihar, Ajay Singh (18), son of Pritem Singh, resident of Seari Phogli, Mohd Bashir (60), son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Seari, Mohd Sadiq (45), son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Mohra Mahal, and Sachin Singh (15), son of Beldav Singh, resident of Tran.

All the injured have been shifted to the Primary Health Centre Budhal, where they are undergoing treatment, the official said.

Police have initiated an investigation into the accident, the official added.
