Srinagar: A devastating accident occurred in Maharaj Gunj, Srinagar, where a 26-year-old carpenter, Danish Ahmed Dar, lost his life due to an electric shock, Officials said.
An official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the carpenter was working on the Smart City project when the incident happened.
He added that the man was later identified as Danish Ahmed Dar, a resident of Watakaloo, Chadoora Budgam.
Meanwhile, police have initiated an investigation into the matter. The incident raises concerns about workplace safety and the need for proper precautions to prevent such tragedies.
