Lauds Sports Initiative At Hanfia Model High School Tangmarg
Srinagar: In a vibrant celebration of sportsmanship and teamwork, Hanfia Model High School Chandilora Tangmarg successfully organized a highly anticipated volleyball tournament. The event was graced by an esteemed panel of guests, including notable figures from the educational and community members.
The chief guests on this occasion were G N Var, President of the Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK), Alhaj Syed Ghulam Mohammad Shah, Patron of Gousia Educational Trust Baramulla , Zaffar Iqbal, Zonal Educational Officer Tangmarg. Special guests included Abdul Rashid Dar, Administrator of Gousia Educational Trust, Dr. Syed Ayoub Qadri, Councilor, Ghulam Mohi Uddin Bahroo, Councilor. Other distinguished guests included Shabir Wani, Chairman of MTM Foundation School Chandilora the Headmaster of Govt. Girls High School Chandilora, Syed Musadiq Amin, Chairman of Gousia School Kulhama, the Principal of Mohammadia High School Kunzer, Mir Aadil, Director of The Cambridge Foundation School Waripora, Nayeema Ahmad Shah, Managing Director of The Cambridge Foundation School Waripora, Syed Jameel Masoodi, Chairman of Oxford International School Waripora and the Chairman of Ali Public School Vahipora.
The tournament saw enthusiastic participation, with a total of four girls’ teams and six boys’ teams competing for the top honors.

The event concluded with cheers, applause, and a strong sense of achievement as the winners were felicitated by the chief guests.

Sports play a crucial role in combating this menace of mobile addiction, offering both physical and psychological health benefits. I deeply appreciate the school owners who are committed to delivering quality education to their students. Schools are not just about academics; they are vital in imparting moral education, which is essential to curb the growing menace of drugs and other societal crimes. Moral education is the need of the hour to protect and guide our younger generation.”
