Tragic Accident in Samba: 29-Year-Old Driver Electrocuted to Death

Samba: A devastating incident occurred in the Ramgarh area of Samba, resulting in the loss of a young life. Sartaj Ahmad Bhat, a 29-year-old driver from Jablipora Bijbehara, Anantnag, was electrocuted to death when the truck he was unloading came into contact with a live electricity wire.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir Bulletin (KB) that the truck, bearing registration number JK22A-8185, was involved in unloading operations when it accidentally touched the live wire. The contact caused a massive electric shock, leading to a fire that engulfed the vehicle. Unfortunately, Bhat was trapped inside the truck and suffered severe burns, resulting in his tragic death.

The victim was identified  as Sartaj Ahmad Bhat, son of Muhammad Shafi Bhat. The police have initiated an inquiry into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and an investigation is underway to ensure that such a tragic incident does not occur again.
