Gen Bipin Rawat Memorial Cricket Tournament 2024

Baramulla  Aug 20  In yet another noble endeavour aimed at fostering constructive activities for our esteemed citizens and granting wings to the boundless dreams of young aspiring cricketers, the Gen BipinRawat Memorial Cricket Tournament 2024 , held in the picturesque Baramulla District, was orchestrated under the auspices of the Dagger Division of Chinar Corps.

The T20 format cricket championship unfolded its splendour from the 15th July to 19 Aug  2024. The exuberance and ardour of our vibrant youth were nothing short of astounding, reflected magnificently in the impressive array of participating teams. This spectacular event witnessed an awe-inspiring total of 64 participating teams engaging in 75 thrilling contests over the course of 35 exhilarating days, culminating in a grand finale on 19 Aug 2024. The event witnessed participation of over 1500 budding cricketers  with a viewership of over 2.5 lakhs people .

 

In the riveting climax, set amidst the hallowed confines of the Gen BipinRawat Stadium, BCC Reds emerged triumphant, leaving an indelible mark by securing victory with the commanding margin of 2 runs .

The grand spectacle reached its splendid culmination and was graced by a resplendent closing ceremony at the Gen BipinRawat Stadium. The Chief Guest for this sporting extravaganza was GOC Dagger Division , graciously bestowing honours upon the triumphant teams and the recipients of various accolades.

In the final address, the Chief Guest passionately encouraged all the participants to seize the golden opportunities presented to them and extract the utmost benefits from the sporting events organized by the Indian Army.
