Srinagar: Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General MV Sudhindra Kumar Saturday met Nalin Prabhat to extend his best wishes to the latter on appointment as Director General of Police.
The two officers, as per news agency KNC, discussed strategies for enhancing synergy and strengthening of security measures between the forces.
Nalin Prabhat (IPS), who was recently appointed as Special DG, is set to take over as Director General of Police with effect from October 1, 2024 – day after the superannuation of incumbent DGP Rashmi Ranjan Swain.
