DDC Chairperson Ganderbal Conducts Extensive Tour of Various Areas of Ganderbal

Ganderbal: The District Development Council (DDC) Chairperson Ganderbal, Nuzhat Ishfaq today took an extensive tour of the various villages of District Ganderbal where she listened to the grievances of the people on spot and inspected ongoing developmental works.

During the day-long tour, the DDC Chairperson visited Banjar Basti Gutlibagh, Nagpov Beehama, Narayanbagh, Gund Roshan, Lati Gund Roshan and other areas where she listened to the various issues faced by the locals of these villages.

The DDC Chairperson was apprised about the issues pertaining to augmentation of Water Supply Schemes, Drainage, Upgradation of Roads, Irrigation and Flood Control and others by the locals.

The Chairperson also met several public delegations who appraised their grievances and developmental aspirations.

Nuzhat Ishfaq gave a patient hearing and assured that all the highlighted issues shall be taken with the concerned authorities for their timely redressal.

At Banjar Basti Gutlibagh and Narayan Bagh, locals demanded for the resumption of work on halted Water Supply Scheme, and demand for an alternative way for supplying water in the areas until its commissioning.

At Beehama Ganderbal, DDC Chairperson directed the Municipal Council Ganderbal officials to start immediate dredging of Nagpov and start work on the road so that an alternate road is provided to Ganderbal residents.

DDC Chairperson Ganderbal was accompanied by the senior officers of Jal Shakti (PHE, I&FC), PWD (R&B), RDD, Municipality and other line departments
