Div Com Kashmir Visits Alamgari Bazar Sgr on Youm-e-Ashura, Meets Mourners

Srinagar : Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri   Wednesday visited Alamgari Bazar Srinagar where he met Shia mourners besides taking stock of arrangements.

Div Com Kashmir, who was accompanied by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Bilal Mohi-ud-din Bhat, while talking to reporters, said that all the arrangements were put in place for the day of Ashura.

“All the arrangements were already made so that the mourners will not face any problem. Every facility from drinking water to electricity was made well ahead of the Ashura,” Div Com Kashmir said.

He stated further that the administration also got the cooperation from the people in order to make full arrangements for the 10th Muharram.

Meanwhile, IGP Kashmir V K Birdi also visited the Alamgari Bazar where he inspected the security measures and distributed refreshments among the mourners.
