Another caravan of nearly 5,000 pilgrims leaves for Kashmir from Bhagwati Nagar base camp

Srinagar:Another caravan of 5000 Pilgrims  pilgrims left for Kashmir from Bhagwati Nagar base camp in Jammu on Saturday morning amid tight security arrangements.

Official sources said that another convoy of 4,669 pilgrims from Bhagwati Nagar base camp on Saturday morning went to Nunwan Pahalgam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district and Baltal base in Ganderbal district of central Kashmir to visit Holy Shrine.

All arrangements have been made to ensure the safety of the pilgrims. Around 800 CCTV cameras have been installed on the pilgrimage routes. Besides, 500 additional companies of security forces have been deployed.
